Kareena turns down Dharma-Ekta collaboration 

Kareena Kapoor was the first choice for Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor’s thriller to be directed by a greenhorn.

But one hears the reigning diva has turned down this offer. While an insider says, “Kareena was not entirely convinced about the film. While she is extremely close to Karan, it is said she wants to do a magnum-opus directed by him.”

The Karan-Ekta film is likely to start in December 2012 and it will have Emraan Hashmi in the lead. If Kareena had agreed to be a part of it, it would have been her first film with the serial kisser.

Kareena is down with a throat infection and fever. She messaged, “The Heroine schedule has been very gruelling. It has taken its toll on me. Too much crying and shouting in the film.” She admitted that she is not doing the Karan-Ekta thriller. “I said ‘no’ last week,” she replied.

Saif/Kareena wedding to follow release of ‘Agent Vinod’. 

The long-delayed Saif Ali Khan production venture “Agent Vinod” has been completed and the film will release March 23, says director Sriram Raghavan. Raghavan revealed that the celebrity couple – Saif and Kareena Kapoor – shot for the last day of “Agent Vinod” on December 24.

The Kareena-Saif wedding would follow in the last week of March or the first week of April and the next schedule of Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Heroine” has been advanced from the end of February to the middle of February to accommodate the promotion and release of “Agent Vinod” into Kareena’s clogged schedule, followed by the wedding and honeymoon.

“After the release of ‘Agent Vinod’, the wedding will happen immediately. Kareena and Saif don’t want to delay it any more,” says a source.

Imran Khan: “I find Kareena extremely beautiful” 

Imran Khan reportedly has nursed an adolescent crush on his leading lady Kareena Kapoor. On the sets of Shakun Batra’s film, Imran could not help but capture his dream heroine on his iPhone whenever possible. There are 100 pictures that Imran has clicked of his co-star.

“At first Bebo was embarrassed by her co-star’s constant clicking, then she was intrigued, finally she was utterly fascinated,” said a source. Apparently, the pictures are of a very high quality.

Imran confessed to Mumbai Mirror, “I find Kareena extremely beautiful. When I was looking at her through the viewfinder, I realised that the camera loves her.”

Saif confirms a February/March Wedding. 

Saif Ali Khan hasn’t spoken about his impending wedding to Kareena Kapoor, till now. Contrary to stories doing the rounds that the wedding - to be held in his ancestral Pataudi Palace - has been postponed thanks to delays with Agent Vinod and his father Mansur Ali Khan’s recent death, Saif confirms for the first time that they will marry early next year.

Kareena had always maintained that she and Saif would tie the knot in 2012 but there was some confusion if it would be early 2012 or end of the year. Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore has also declared that her son is planning to marry Kareena “very soon.” The plan was to get married after the release of Saif’s home production Agent Vinod, which was to release on December 9 but the film got delayed, which sparked speculation that the wedding would be postponed.

Saif confirms, “Kareena and I will definitely get married by early next year. We plan to get married in February 2012 after Agent Vinod releases, but if the film’s release gets delayed we will still get married by March. We won’t postpone the marriage beyond that anymore.” He adds, “Kareena is a wonderful girl and we are extremely compatible. My family and she have always got along well. We share the same values in life, love each other completely and I want to spend more time with her. I am looking forward to the marriage now.” The wedding at Pataudi Palace will be a traditional and grand one, attended by the couple’s family and friends.

Khan’s sister Soha also spoke of the upcoming marriage.

Shahrukh gave Kareena “pregnancy tips” on how to enact her role in Ra.One.

In Ra.One, Kareena plays a mother for the first time (she played a step-mom in We Are Family). And a part of the film shows her pregnant. So interestingly, to get her role right, it was co-star Shah Rukh Khan who was giving her tips on how to walk and behave appropriately. “It’s very different for me because I’ve never played a mother before. So, it was interesting to enact the scene with such intricate details,” says the actress.
